first of look at this .
Now as I look at this I was like okay ... they like wolves , mayebe there therians , furrys I dont know ... But attleast hey they are willing enough to show there so called inner animal out in the open .
Something that is probably my bigguest fear , to be juged as a freak , crazy ... witch if you see the comments about them , thats what they probably are called by most .
Mayebe there not therians , or otherkin or anything ... still the fact of seing them juged like that is basicly the same way we would be treathed ...
So anyway ... I hate the immaturity some people have againce them or furries or any person who claims to be therian ...
I hate it ... its like not only that I / We have hidden our therian side from the world ... now if we try to explain ourselves and get b*tched off as crazy freaks who want attention ...
Attantion ?! Ha why in the world would I want that , Im a cat ... I crave Silence , and peace . And Im shure some of you enjoy your solidairity as well . its not a style (unless you want to express it like there doing , wich im totaly fine with it . or again if they are non therian or otherkin ...) its not a style ... Its who you are ... and if the people you apreciate dont accept you for who you are ... Why should you accept them ? .
Anyway ... your toughts on this and comments .
thanx ...

I wish there were more therians that I knew in my area, maybe then we could be more open like this. I think people would find it easier to accept and understand therians if we were more well known.

BY the away when they talk about one of them with the severed dog's head, apparently the dog was missing, and was bought to them by a friend already dead. The dog was already dead, she did not kill it, she just has a passion for taxidermy and stuff like that.
That's what I've heard.

I know and to me it sounds stupid that a wolf girl would kill a dog I mean if she sees herself as a wolf she would feel great bond to dogs the way that we feel to cats ... its the closest thing we have (that is a domestic pet) to the real thing .
And in a way if she killed it , it would be like somewhat canibalism (tough she didint eat it bu i mean like killing same species .) a dog is basicly a domesticated wolf ... if you know what i mean.

I seriously think that that this is a good and bad idea. It's good because it allows them to be themselves around their "pack" and garner some amount of safety and family through the pack. It's a bad one though because to be so open can get them hurt. Someone new to the area or people hearing about this in more conservative parts of the country could get violent. The US is not the most excepting of countries when it comes to things like this. I live close to the "Bible Belt" of the US and anything like this could be taken the wrong way.

I saw that video last night on Youtube.
I think in just about any situation there's always going to be those nasty comments about others. The internet provides a sense of being anonymous and the mentality of "no one knows who I am, I can say whatever I want!" So I think the "freak" comments come from that rather than necessarily the whole wolf thing.
It doesn't matter if you're skinny, fat, black, white, short, tall, blonde, brunette, sad, happy, whatever. No one is immune to the judgement of others. You know, "haters gonna hate." I'm not agreeing with this, I'm just saying they're not singled out.
I think these kids must already be aware of the reactions that they would get. They went on the news and they dress a certain way to provoke others. To me personally, I'd just a little suspicious if they actually claimed to be therians. They may be, they might not be. You'll never know for sure. But the tails, the eyes, the Hot Topic look, it just looks like a new fashion in the post-Twilight era. As parts of sub-cultures become mainstream, this sort of stuff is going to become more popular in younger crowds.
I don't think I would ever come out and tell everyone I'm a panther. Even if it was accepted in modern society. That's just me personally. Something so entwined into who I am and has such an impact in my life, that's just for me. It's special, it's secret and if I chose to tell someone about it, they are honoured with my trust and my honesty. I wouldn't want to wear a tail and eye contacts and say "look at me, now accept it!" It would be like selling myself out for my 15 minutes of fame.
On the other hand, I can see how being open would promote community and tolerance. Bah...I guess you can't have your cake and eat it too.
BTW, this took me so long to write because I've been speaking all day in German. If my thoughts are unclear, sorry.

I wish there were more therians that I knew in my area, maybe then we could be more open like this. I think people would find it easier to accept and understand therians if we were more well known. If only... I just want it to be known that we're not crazy people. We dont' really BELIEVE we're animals (with the exception of those who believe in reincarnation and think they may have been an animal in a past life, but that's a totally legit belief and I fail to see the problem with that); it's more spiritual than anything. But... that's not known. And of course, because we're "strange", we're judged.

Are they hurting others? Are they hurting themselves? Are they doing something illegal? Are they shirking responsibilities? With the exception of that skull thing--and that was ONE person, the answer to these questions for this group appears to be "no", therefore, nothing wrong with this group. If a certain definition of "werewolf" is a part of their true identity, there's nothing wrong with that. :/ But then, being open minded and non-judgemental and accepting of opinions and beliefs and thought processes different than one's own is a biiiiig issue with society, it would seem.
