I love to read. It exercises my mind, spurs my imagination, and the fiction I read gives me an awesome escape from the mundaneness of life. Only problem is, I've read through all of my books enough times that I'm not ready to start on any of them again. So, I have begun to read through some of Tiegra's books.
The last book I read is Carrie Vaugh's first book in her Kitty series, which is about a werewolf named Kitty. The story is well thought out and full of all sorts of wonderful details. But some of the things in the book was getting under my skin -- making me crazy!!!
Kitty, being a werewolf, was the omega in a pack of werewolves. Every time she would talk about just wanting to please her pack (by whining), the tiger inside would get so aggrivated he wanted to smack Kitty around!
So that got me to thinking. What would a werecat be like? How would he interact with humanity and other werecats? Teigra & I have decided to write a story about a werecat, and we'd like to enlist your help with ideas.
I realize that there is such a broad spectrum of cats to make answering those questions nearly impossible. For example, werelions would likely form a matriarchal pride, whereas weretigers would be solitary creatures. Since both Teigra & I are tigers (at least in part), we would like to write a story about a weretiger.
Help us out with any ideas that you have! If it gets popular enough, I may even create a board just for our story where we can discuss ideas and plotlines. And who knows -- some of you may even be inspired to write a werecat story about your theriotype!
