In the 'Cat Carrier' Panther

I stumbled upon this website from a site of links. I'm very surprised that this is even exists. Finding a group of people who I can relate to is just...to me rather surprising.

What I mean by 'in the cat carrier' is that I'm pretty much in closet with all of this. I'm not ready 100% ready to jump up and scream 'Look at me, I'm a werecat! Look at my tail!!!!' I still have my doubts, my reservations, and I suppose my own inner struggles.

This is probably going to be redundant on here, but my nickname is Kat. It's my initials and short for Katherine, funny coincidence...huh? Right now I'm living in Germany but I get to go home back to the good ole sweet US of A in two months.

When I was a kid, I too did crawl on the floor and pretend I was a cat; I also was obsessed with Cheetahs and couldn't stop reading about them (or doing book reports about them.)

When I was a young teen, I started becoming sensitive to spirits, dreams, and creatures that go bump in the night. I started dreaming periodically of shifting into a black panther (and a few weeks ago, into a snow leopard). To me it does not constitute proof I am truly a werecat but it's a good suspicion.

I know any spiritual journey to finding out who you are is not easy one and takes time. I feel like this part of me is something I can't ignore anymore and it's time to move forward.

I would think that the people who stand up and say 'Look at me, I'm a werecat! Look at my tail!!!!' are the exception. I know that for my wife and I, there is only 1 person that we know (not counting all of you awesome cats, of course!) who knows what exactly we are. We hide it from those around us because we know that they wouldn't understand. And to me, that's okay -- I know what I am and I'm comfortable with it. There's no need to make it a part of my public identity....

Anyway, welcome to this site. If there's anything you need at any time, don't hesitate to ask. We're all friendly here -- I make sure of it.
